Nigel Tradewell: Streetview

  • by

The name ‘Streetview’ is a reference to the ubiquitous Google and the little yellow man that you can set down anywhere. These pictures are my street views, taken in various locations from Hackney to Havana. They are pictures of people in various situations that somehow struck me as strange or interesting. They are pictures that, perhaps, give a sense of being set down in a strange place and of passing through. I want them to invite the viewer to imagine the stories behind them, the before and after and what lies outside the frame.

I would be delighted if you would come to the exhibition and hope you like the pictures half as much as I enjoyed making them. Many thanks to Tony Othen for offering to make this great space available to me.
