Guests and Volunteers: portraits from the Crisis Night Shift
These large-scale portraits provide a rare glimpse inside the Crisis Rough Sleepers Centre in London, which operates during Christmas each year. Cameras are usually banned from the Centre, but as a long-term volunteer Mark was given permission to capture a series of portraits depicting guests and volunteers. A highlight of the exhibition will be a discussion forum on 11th June with fellow LIP member Katherine Green. Speakers from both sides of the camera, including subjects from the Guests & Volunteers series, will discuss the challenges and responsibilities of representing individuals in vulnerable situations.
